BECOME A PADI OPEN WATER DIVER

An Open Water Diver Certification takes place in three phases; academic, confined water training and open water dives.   In today's environment most people are opting for the online course over purchasing a manual and DVD to digest the information.  It is an interactive process that prompts the person towards the right answer.  Once that is completed an e-mail is generated letting the instructor know that you have completed the academic portion and we will set up a schedule for confined water

Training in the heart of Newark, NJ.  In the confined water training the student learns all of the basic skills for open water diving over the course of several pool sessions; each lasting approximately 2 hours.

After the student has demonstrated some level of mastery of the confined water skills, we will schedule a date for their Open Water Dives.  Four (4) dives over the course of two days to demonstrate the skills that were learned in confined water class will lead the student to Padi Open Water Diver certification.

Minimum age requirement is 15 years old (10 to be a Padi Junior Open Water Diver)

Junior Open Water Diving course for children ages 10-14. They can only dive with the supervision of either a PADI certified professional, or a certified parent or guardian and only up to a depth of 40 feet (12 meters).
